Rafael Kobylinski at MobileIronLive!2019 Brooklyn

Our CEO Rafael met with Doug Atkinson a few weeks ago in Brooklyn to discuss the incapptic Connect solution development and how it facilitates internal application management.

They discuss how enterprise can respond to the massive uptake of mobile devices by developing in-house, business-to-employeee applications, and the benefits to the company therein, as well as the problems with distributing apps at scale and the need for an automated solution.

We’re passionate about making the development, release, and management of Enterprise Apps as simple as possible for our Enterprise customers. Mobile Application Management is the future of industry, and we’re excited to be on the bleeding edge of innovation in this field. Want to know more about how we achieve this? MobileIron and incapptic Connect Help CLAAS Increase User Productivity

MUNICH, March 20, 2017 / PRNewswire / -- MobileIron (NASDAQ: MOBL):
The security backbone for the digital enterprise, today announced that CLAAS, a global agricultural machinery manufacturer, selected MobileIron's Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) platform with Berlin-based incapptic Connect's Mobile App Release Automation Technology to make its business-critical mobile apps more productive by deploying them faster, safer and more cost-efficient.

CLAAS has used MobileIron's platform since 2012 to secure its mobile devices. MobileIron protects the company's mobile devices, apps, and data from unauthorized access and ensures compliance with administrative guidelines. Business-critical data transferred between mobile devices and backend systems are securely encrypted.

Together with incapptic Connect's mobile app release automation technology, MobileIron serves as the backbone of the agricultural machinery manufacturer's mobile business app strategy. With the click of a button, apps can be deployed and updated.  CLAAS' business units are empowered to manage apps for their teams without the help of IT experts. This enables CLAAS to meet the growing needs of its users for efficient business-oriented mobile apps.

incapptic Connect is a web-based solution that automates the app deployment component of CLAAS' business app strategy.

"incapptic Connect helps CLAAS significantly reduce the time it takes to publish and update in-house and third-party apps, enabling frequent, timely distribution of new releases at very low cost," said Dr. Rafael Kobylinski, Founder and CEO of incapptic Connect.

"Together, MobileIron and incapptic Connect support the secure and reliable publication and updating of apps with the click of a button in near-real time," said Peter Machat, Director, DACH and Eastern Europe, MobileIron. "CLAAS, a longtime MobileIron customer, is a pioneer among German companies embracing Mobile First."

"We save between two and three hours with each app update we need to administer, while maintaining compliance with our high-security standards ensured by MobileIron," said Stephan Niewöhner, Project Manager, Mobile Application at CLAAS.

MobileIron is managing approximately 3000 mobile devices within the CLAAS group, primarily iPhones and iPads. The mobile IT infrastructure is managed by EBF GmbH, a Cologne-based IT specialist, through the deployment of its Hosted Core model.

incapptic Connect receives seed funding from High-Tech Gründerfonds

incapptic Connect closes seed round with HTGF. This start-up’s unique software resolves a complex problem in the field of apps and enterprise mobility.

incapptic Connect’s software simplifies the exchange of data between companies and external developers when updating apps. Each app needs to be signed with a digital corporate key before it can be published. This is akin to a sort of company signature. “To date, this has been carried out manually by IT specialists,” explains Dr. Rafael Kobylinski, Founder and CEO of incapptic Connect. “This takes up to one week to perform and is very error-prone.”

Today, for each new version of an app, developers need to supply all data required for publishing in the correct formats. To date, the data has been compiled in long Excel spreadsheets. The company’s IT department then needs to sign off the app with the digital corporate key before manually uploading it into the desired app stores and subsequently transferring the entire data manually again from the Excel spreadsheets.

Dr. Thiemo Scherle, Chief Customer Officer of incapptic Connect: “This error-prone procedure is no longer necessary with incapptic Connect. The software automates the process, thus ensuring that the implementation of new app versions is much easier and faster.”

incapptic Connect is compatible with popular app-distribution systems, such as MobileIron, Apple App Store and Google Play.

Dr. Rafael Kobylinski: “Our target group is large companies that offer apps for customers, partners and employees. Good apps are updated two to three times per month. Many apps therefore require numerous updates, which can be performed in a fast and error-free way with our software.”

Among the company’s first clients are a German DAX-30 company and CLAAS, the international manufacturers of agricultural machinery.

“The HTGF investment will primarily be used for product development. In addition, we will look to convince and win over further customers in the German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and beyond. We believe that incapptic Connect has major potential, particularly due to its complete independence from certain sectors and countries,” explains Dr. Marc Umber, Investment Manager at HTGF.
